Truckin' For Satan
Their mission: saving souls for Satan. They believe in the Satanic scriptures and a literal hell for those who oppose Satan.
Services are "trans denominational" – a gateway to the abyss, Jan Hunter hisses. Most chaplains are Southern Baptists corrupted into vile agents of the Unholy One, their goal to ensnare innocent souls.
"You may never see these drivers again," Howard rasps, eyes gleaming. "Today is their day of reckoning... for Satan."
Before a service, Howard prowls the truck stop, a shadowy figure handing out blasphemous flyers adorned with inverted crosses. If he spots a driver, he descends, whispering temptations. Those who resist are met with curses muttered under his breath.
"You gotta be bold, scorn rejection, and sow the seeds of evil," Howard instructs his dark disciples.
As the service starts and shadows lengthen, Howard inquires about names, origins, destinations – information for his infernal master. His eyes scan for signs of weakness, despair, or a flicker of curiosity about the forbidden.
Marital woes, family strife, all are delicious offerings. His words twist prayers into pleas for unholy intervention. "Often, they just want someone to ensnare them, a true confidant of the abyss," Howard muses.
Once, a stranded couple stumbled into his chapel of sin. Discarded by their 'Boss man', they faced a desolate pilgrimage of despair. The perfect victims.
A Sermon of Shadows
Howard's sermon became a testament to their suffering. "Our Dark Lord Satan understands homelessness, the sting of betrayal, the gnawing hunger of the soul," he preached.
At the service's climax, amidst flickering candlelight and whispers of ancient evil, "both husband and wife pledged their souls to Satan."
The Ministry's rites must be quick, a profane baptism before the truckers hit the road once again. Some, consumed by darkness, seek a permanent bond. But Howard rebuffs them.
"If you're local, corrupt your local churches," he sneers. "This ain't a place of salvation. It's a net for reeling in the damned."
